Here is a great property that consists of grasslands, some very nice wooded draws, and agriculture fields that will be put to row crops this fall. The tenant farmer was very quick to tell me about all the deer he sees on a daily basis. There are also turkeys on the property and plenty of upland game.
I looked at this property and the potential it has is great. Two giant wooded draws with cedars and plenty of cover. Great places for ground blinds and some very nice hard woods for tree stands. The agriculture field on the NE corner looks to get pounded by the deer. There is a very nice wood lot on this field and some very good stand locations. The elevation is also a plus. A person could scout the whole property, from one or two locations, with a good set of binoculars.
The landowner reserves the right to pasture cattle. They also reserve the right to hunt pheasants, quail and turkey if the lessee is not present and arrangements have been made. The landowner has never hunted the property and at some point may make the trip to do so.
