Property Details
UNIT 17!!!! Hodgeman County. This property would pair very nicely with KSWE 0046.
This property is made up of two separate pieces located a few miles apart. The first piece is 160 acres and has about 40 acres of CRP grass with a little draw that contains a cluster of small trees. These trees were rubbed up so there has been buck activity in the CRP field. It is not an every day spot to hunt but could always have a cruising buck during the rut, or a buck in locked down with a doe. Great spot to have a camera and hunt it when the big one shows up.
The second piece is 240 acres. It has a deep draw that runs through the middle of it. Some giant cottonwoods flourish in this draw and make a nice little hideaway for the deer. By the sign i found, it is used plenty. There were rubs and scrapes throughout the property and I also found a skull of a buck that did not make it through the season. The deer look to be bedding in the draw and then feeding in the fields to the east or west. The group of trees runs north and south so it would be very easy to hunt one end or the other depending on wind direction.
This property would pair up nicely with KSWE 0046, which is less than ten miles away!!!
