The hunting lease is only 1¼ miles off the remote Admire turnpike exit and is approximately 11 miles west of Osage City, Kansas. The property sets off of good county roads so no issues getting to this property when the weather gets bad.
This hunting lease has eight fields that are separated by tree lines and 142 mile creek that winds through the entire property from North to South with lots of native hardwood trees and giant oak food plots dropping buckets of acorns and are evident all along the creek.
On my visit all the fields were planted and most were in beans and corn with a large amount of deer signs in the fields. My visit was in mid October and the scrapes and rub lines were just starting to show. My favorite spot on this lease is on the eastside of the creek in the second field from the northeast corner, there is good sign in this area from both deer and turkey.
There is and old railroad that goes through the northern part of the property and is part of the Flint Hills walking trail, I did not see any sign of use this time of the year although the public does have access to the trail.
