***HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO HUNT BIG BUCKS ON 2 TRACTS IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS***
SHELBY COUNTY AND CHRISTIAN COUTNY ILLINOIS
The 80 acre tract in Shelby County consists of approximately 23 acres of row crops that are surrounded by a good mix of timber with the majority of the woodland acres being thick bedding cover. This woodland area is mostly flat with some contour on the north side that rolls down to a creek. The biggest feature of this tract is that it boarders a 457 acre Boy Scout Camp on the East side. This should pay big dividends.
There were deer bedded all over this tract when I was walking the farm. The trails through the timber were heavy and there were plenty of rubs and scrapes from this past season. These inside corners should be productive on this tract.
The 48 acres in Christain County is an old homestead that is now over run with deer and deer sign.
Mostly hedge and weeded bedding areas. I jumped 8 deer out of a thicket and ended up finding an antler in this bedding area. I thought it was a shed at first, but when I got up to it realized it had been broken off just above the brow. He must have been a fighter!
There are two pinch points on this tract that could produce big. I would have a couple cameras on them for sure.
This lease is for a term of 1 year unless the auction ends after August 1st. In this event, the lease will end on August 1st the following year.
