This property is predominately an oak woodland that is bordered on the west by more oaks, on the east by woods & pasture, on the south by public road with corn/bean field just beyond. Just north of the floodplain of the Yellow River. All of this will be good for bedding areas and stand placement with food close by.
Landowner is reserving the right to do a select timber harvest that would take place outside of the deer and turkey hunting seasons. Landowner will notify HLN and hunter's when the project is scheduled.
Trapping allowed, with the exception of fox and coyote.
Camping is allowed, but does not have hook ups. Landowner says there is a spot to pull in a camper.
Access only allowed during from Sep.1 - June 1! Lessee will have exclusive rights to hunt during those months. If the lessee needs to set cameras, stands, or access the property before Sep.1, they will have to contact the landowner to get permission.
Landowner reserves the right to occasionally walk the property throughout the year, or camp in some areas, when not in use by hunters. He also asks that there be good communication & good stewardship ethic.
