These properties have Whitetail Overload! Without exaggeration, I didn’t get to enter the timber that connects to several hundred acres of solid native trees because on my arrival the whitetail were already on the move and had little regard to me being there. A lot of the photos have deer that were filtering out of the timber early and headed to the crop ground. This property will no doubt be a long-term lease that will produce year after year. It has every asset a good hunting lease needs; an abundance of timber, native grass for bedding, Little Sugar Creek, plenty of row crop and great access with low traffic roads. What appeals to me the most are the 3 different tracts that are in close proximity although far enough apart that you might see completely different bucks.
Landowner reports a lot of crop damage and would like to see some does harvested. I noticed an extreme amount of deer sign in the field that was currently planted to soybeans.
This lease is close enough to KC that you could be in the stand in a little under 2 hours. It's approximately 1hr 30min. to the MCI airport.
