This property has all the game as you can see in the pictures below. There are quite a few bucks roaming the property after this years hunting season. There were also pictures of pheasants and turkeys. There is one picture that I can count 13 deer roaming the fields!!!
This property is only a little over a mile outside of Lyons, Kansas. It sits just to the north of highway 56. Don't let that fool you. There is an abundance of wildlife that calls this ground home. The deer hide behind the island of trees in the south field and they use the railroad right of way to conceal themselves on the backside of the property. The traffic does not seem to bother them as I saw over 15 deer feeding in the milo stubble and wheat after pulling some trail cameras.
The creek meanders through the property creating some great little pockets where you will be able to ambush some bucks during the rut. There was plenty of scrapes and rubs so you know the bucks will be cruising here when November comes.
Care of the crops in the field is a must!!! There will be no ATV activity without permission from the tenant farmer and only if the crops have been harvested. There is an access road coming from the highway that goes to the railroad right of way. Hunters will need to park on the railroad right of way to access the property. There will be a place to park where the farmer will be able to get equipment into the fields if necessary.
$2 million in hunting liability coverage included in lease price. No commercial use allowed on property. Tenant farmer would also like to be made aware of when hunters will be on the property.
