340 +/- acres of pure deer hunting heaven. Trempealeau County is well known for its monster bucks. This is a deer and turkey lease as well as an opportunity to fish a good-sized pond that owner states "needs to be thinned out". Multiple fish species in pond. Owner mentioned northerns but I make no promises.
Heavy and lightly wooded areas consisting of birch and hardwoods. Numerous open spots in the wooded areas. High ground offers views of surrounding valleys and low land and makes for great shooting. I kicked up at least 10 deer as I walked the property. There's a whole bunch of nooks, crannies and corners to park your stands in. No shortage of water with springs and creeks running through it. There are a couple of old homesteads on here and all buildings are off limits. There is crop ground on the lower portions.
Owner will allow a camper and does have a spot for electric hook up. Electric hook up cost to be worked out directly with owner.
Owners are rehabbing the farmhouse and once finished will offer it as a B+B.
All tree stands or blinds currently on the property are not to be used.
Owners do not want baiting. No baiting allowed. Do not drive ATV's through wet areas or crop ground. Landowner will not be liable for use of machines. No recreational ATV use. Farmland is leased and those tenants have unlimited right to access at any time to check on crops and livestock. Boats at pond are not to be used. Cattle on property March through October. Please close any gates you open. There is electric fencing on the property and please close any of those that you open.
