Great property in a great area of UNIT 3!!! Property would pair nicely with KSWE 0097!
This property consists of 2 separate pieces that are split by Webster reservoir. The first property lies to the east of the reservoir. It was in milo this past year and looks to be milo again or another row crop. It has two draws that run north to south on each end of it. There are mature cottonwoods along the border of both of these draws. There were trails running through them that the deer were probably using in the early season while the milo was still standing. Definitely could pull a deer into a bait pile in one of these draws. There would also be some upland game hunting and being so close the the reservoir the field probably gets frequented by waterfowl.
The second property is on the west side of Webster reservoir. This property has a quality wood lot that was full of deer sign!!! I had to quit taking pictures of all the rubs on every other tree. The property sets up well with the predominate NW and SW winds. There are great mature trees along the border all the way around so you can set up stands without disturbing the heart of the bedding area. The ag fields had wheat, beans, and milo in them. A smorgasbord of food options. This is truly a hidey hole for a monster buck!!
ATV's allowed for hunting purposes only, no trail riding, and avoid damaging the fence on the property. Respect to crops and crop ground is a must!
