This property is a great piece for cruising deer! It is made up of pasture ground and row crops. The pasture ground runs throughout the property from north to south. There is great grass and tree dispersed throughout. A great pond that had water in it. There is a great grove of trees to the south end of the pasture that has some thick cedars that would be great for bedding and some big tall cottonwoods that would be great for roosting!! The ground has some elevation and some draws for deer to bed down and hide. There will be cattle pastured here but will come out at some point in the fall. There are areas that the cattle will not be that could have a feeder set up and draw deer in from the abundance of great ground in the surrounding area.
There is a thick shelterbelt along the east side of the property. There was plenty of rubs and scrapes along this line. There are mature trees and that could hold stands along this shelterbelt also. The deer liked to come out into the field down in the bottom where they can not be seen from any of the roads. This could be a great honey hole during the rut!!!!
