Lease is bordered by large areas of timber on the south and northwestern end and has ideal habitat for bedding.
Alfalfa on northwest end and hay on southwest will be put into CRP this spring and will be reseeded. No opportunities for food plots. CRP will be maintained as necessary for program requirements.
Respect for crops is extremely important on this well-maintained farm. The northwestern corner separated by the road and the southwestern section (south of Papoose Creek) are available for hunting during all Iowa hunting seasons. However, the farm manager requests no hunting on cropped area (area north of Papoose Creek) until after fall crops are out and before the spring crop is in. HLN Rep will communicate harvest and planting dates with lessee.
Lessee would be financially responsible for any damage to crops. Walk-in only, no travel on property utilizing anything motorized. Disruption of or damage to growing or unharvested crop is cause for immediate cessation of contractual right to hunt with landowner retaining on a pro rata basis that portion of hunting rent represented by the days elapsed since start of hunting lease. Landowner shall not be rushed to harvest crop to suit.
