Prime hunting in Kiowa county Unit 16!!!

This is another large farm that provides a great possibility for a monster Kansas buck!! This farm is not in one block but each parcel is plenty big to hold its own deer. You will be hunting different deer on each individual parcel. Gives the hunter a much higher percentage of finding the elusive 200 incher!!

There are some very nice deep draws. These have some quality trees that can be used for stands or there are plenty of places for a ground blind. The deer will use these draws to bed down in and then come up to the ag fields for feed. There will be plenty of places to set up for every wind direction.

The farthest southern property has a great shelter belt that runs along the road. This shelter belt is very thick with plenty of cedars that stretch out into the pasture. The pasture has a nice pond and great grass throughout. It also has some great contour where deer can settle down in some low areas out of the wind. This is where one of the nice post rubs in the pictures below was taken.

The gold star parcel on this lease is the mile section (640 acres)! This is a prime hunting area. There is a lot happening here. There is pasture and some great wooded fingers that come out from that pasture. There is a couple nice ponds and a very grown up wooded area where the cattle have not been pastured. It is grown up in saplings and is bordered by a wooded hillside. The deer were thick in this area using it as bedding and not leaving it, even when spooked. There was shed in this area and tons of old rubs and scrapes. You can get lost in all the volunteer tree coming up.

This piece could easily be hunted on its own as a lease but ad in all the other property and this is a very special opportunity!!

Upland game was abundant, especially quail. There is the possibility of jumping some waterfowl off the farm ponds. Definitely be some good dove hunting come the first of September!!!

This farm does graze cattle. They are plenty of areas that don't have cattle to set up feeders. The cattle will move off at some point in the fall/winter.

ATV's allowed for hunting purposes only, no trail riding, and avoid damaging the fence on the property. Respect to crops and crop ground is a must!
